More restaurants than ever before will be participating in this year’s Taste of Fairmount atFairmount Fling. In addition to some of your classic favorites, new comers to the neighborhood like La Calaca Feliz, Hickory Lane, Fare, and Isabel BYOB will be dishing out delicious samples at the Fling. The 9th Annual Fairmount Fling will be held on Thursday, November 17th, 2011 at Girard College’s historic Founders’ Hall. The night, as always, will be filled with great food, drinks, auctions, and neighborhood awards. Based on feedback from a recent survey about the Fling, we’re now having the event on a Thursday in hopes more neighbors will be able to attend. Also new this year we have introduced a discount for group tickets, so get your whole block together for a night of fun and socializing. Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door, $35 for groups of 10+, and $5 for kids. Order your tickets today!

It’s almost fall and that can only mean one thing, the Fairmount Fling is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Fling on November 22nd 2010 at Girard College’s Founders Hall. Complete with music, tasty Fairmount favorites, beer and wine, raffles, and auctions the 8th Annual Fairmount Fling is sure to be a wonderful night to socialize with neighbors while supporting the work of the Fairmount CDC. New this year is a separate area for the kids with entertainment and reduced admission, so there’s no need to find a babysitter! Mark you calendars for the 2010 Fairmount Fling at Girard College. The Fling will be held Monday, November 22nd, 2010. Every year the Fairmount Fling attracts over 400 guests for a night of culinary delights, free beer and wine, live and silent auctions, and awards recognizing fellow Fairmount residents.
