The City of Philadelphia offers a Storefront Improvement Grant that will reimburse businesses up to 50% to improvements to their façade. Please note that the city’s program is available only to businesses along specific commercial corridors (Fairmount Ave and Girard Ave included) and require the application to be submitted through a relationship manager, such as the Fairmount CDC. The Fairmount CDC offers our own façade grant, similar to that of city’s Storefront Improvement Program. The Fairmount CDC grant can, in certain situations, be combined with the city’s grant and also covers businesses in our service area not located on a commercial corridor.
