About the Fairmount Arts Crawl

The Basics

The Fairmount Arts Crawl is an annual event sponsored by the Fairmount Community Development Corporation that transforms nearly 40 local businesses into art galleries for the day. The free event hosts over 70 artists and is open to the public. This year’s Arts Crawl will be April 17, 2011 from 2 – 6 p.m.

Where is the Arts Crawl?

The Fairmount Arts Crawl takes place throughout the Fairmount Neighborhood of Philadelphia. Just a block away from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Fairmount Arts Crawl is easy to get to for visitors and locals alike. While there are many businesses that host artists along Fairmount Avenue, there are also great venues and things to do north of Fairmount as well. So make sure to check out the Happenings page and pick up a brochure the day of so you don’t miss any of the action.
