Why Do You Love Working in the Art Museum District?
This is such a great corner of Philadelphia, filled with vibrant small businesses, the museum and waterfront park, and public transportation that can take me to many parts of the city when needed. The sense of community here is strong! I love that I can take a short walk to plenty of cafes, down some of the prettiest streets in Philadelphia lined with trees and everyone's stoop gardens, for some fresh air.
Tell us about your founder. What was their inspiration for opening the business?
Adventures Abound is a one-woman show run by me, Michele Granera. I grew up in South Carolina and never did much traveling, but that all changed when I took my first EVER plane ride to study abroad in Costa Rica. I came home realizing there were so many adventures to be had right near home, and Philly has 100x that!
