Cadira Poindexter (left) and Nicole Singleton (right) celebrate the grand opening of Natural Aesthetics.
Classmates, friends, and now—business partners. Twenty years ago Nicole Singleton and Cadira Poindexter met in a Drexel classroom. In November, 2023 they opened Natural Aesthetics Medical Spa in Francisville fulfilling a decades-long dream.
“We made a pact that we were going to go into business together,” Cadira said. “And as you can see, we’ve stuck to that.”
Since meeting as nursing students, Nicole and Cadira have been inseparable. The two found their calling for nursing through similar family experiences; seeing family members receive care from dedicated professionals in difficult moments. Their new business is an extension of their professional and personal commitment to extend care to others.
They don’t quite agree on who came up with the Natural Aesthetics business idea, both giving the other one credit. What they can agree on is that Ridge Avenue is the perfect home for their business. “We both felt in our hearts that this was the place we needed to be,” Cadira said. “The neighborhood is growing and blooming and we wanted to be a part of that.”
At Natural Aesthetics, Nicole and Cadira prioritize individuality in their services. “One of the biggest misconceptions about wellness is that it’s cookie-cutter,” Nicole said. “We want to customize everything.”
The New Year is the perfect time to invest in routine self-care and Natural Aesthetics is here to help you find the services that make the most sense for you.
