Fairmount CDC Launches Philly Flurry This January

Updated: Dec 28, 2021

This winter, Fairmount Community Development Corporation will present its inaugural Philly Flurry, a two-week-long event celebrating Art Museum District retailers, restaurants, and small businesses.

From Friday, January 7 through Sunday, January 23, more than 20 community businesses are partnering with Fairmount CDC to provide a fun and unique neighborhood experience for ticket-holders, providing discounts on good bites, great buys, drinks, desserts, classes and gifts.

Philadelphia residents and visitors who buy tickets to the Philly Flurry will have an exclusive opportunity to sample the best of the Art Museum District, and gift what they love about the community to others. Deals available to Philly Flurry ticket-holders include complimentary appetizers, desserts, seasonal drinks, gifts, discounts at retail stores, salons, and on special services such as yoga and fitness memberships, plus access to unique experiences including a jazz brunch and indoor mini golf.

“We are excited to share our unique restaurants, retailers, and businesses with neighbors citywide, and make sure they feel our appreciation this season,” says Patrick Sherlock, Executive Director at Fairmount CDC. “The Philly Flurry allows neighbors to share what they love about the Art Museum District as a holiday gift, and encourages everyone to explore and support community businesses this January!”

Tickets can be purchased for $35 each and provide access to special offers from participating businesses; proceeds support the work of Fairmount CDC. A full list of participating businesses, the special offers available to Philly Flurry ticket-holders, and a link to purchase tickets can be found at www.phillyflurry.com.
