Happy Fourth! So much to celebrate this month:
The Art Museum neighborhoods are the best for enjoying the holiday. Check out everything happening from fireworks, to the 150th anniversary of the Philadelphia Zoo (free, this afternoon, from 1-5pm!)
We are celebrating a significant milestone this year as well—2024 marks Fairmount CDC's 25th anniversary. Save the date for an extra special Taste of Fairmount on November 21 and support our mission by purchasing our exclusive anniversary artwork, a limited edition piece commissioned from City Line Drawings.
Coming up sooner, The Oval returns to the Ben Franklin Parkway on July 11 with live performances, family activities and food trucks, plus a beer garden and mini golf from local friends Libertee Grounds.
Our second Brewerytown Sidewalk Social mini-festival - featuring food, music and community on a Thursday evening - will be July 18 at 28th and Girard.
The fourth annual Jazzing on Ridge festival is July 28 from 12-6 at 22nd and Ridge!
Looking ahead, Lemon Hill has been confirmed as the site of Philadelphia’s 2026 World Cup Fan Fest! We are excited to welcome visitors from around the world through the event, and have been meeting with city officials to ensure this opportunity benefits our parks, neighbors, and businesses. This month’s GAMBA Business Spotlight features Mi Casita, 2601 Poplar Street, an award-winning Spanish immersion preschool.
