Uhuru Furniture, a nonprofit economic development project of the African People's Education and Defense Fund (APEDF.org), is open Wed-Sun 11am-6pm at 832 N. Broad St. at Parrish. We get truckloads of new donations and offer volunteer opportunities every day. We pick up your donations of furniture which are sold for reasonable prices to benefit programs for black community self-determination. Learn more here.

Join Yoga 4 Philly for a FREE, one-hour yoga practice at Eastern State Penitentiary. Then, exploreNight Tours: Summer Twilight. Rain (indoors) or shine (outdoors). Dress comfortably and for the weather. Bring a mat if you have one. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. This class is first-come, first-served, and is subject to availability.
