November Business Buzz

Fewer than 30 tickets remain available for Taste of Fairmount next Thursday (click here to join us!) showcasing more than 40 local businesses.

In the News

That's not all that's going on in community business news:

Why Do You Love Taste of Fairmount?

Our work supporting and promoting local businesses is made possible by fundraisers like Taste of Fairmount, and contributions from individuals investing to support what they love about the neighborhood. We asked several attendees why they enjoy Taste of Fairmount every year:

  • "I love sampling all of the neighborhood restaurants and always find a wonderful new spot or dish. One of my absolute favorite events!"

  • "having an opportunity to meet and discuss the food, the thinking behind the menus, the challenges, and rewards with the restaurant owners and staff. A true insider's view."

  • "a wonderful way to discover new restaurants while also giving us a chance to experience some that we may have missed."

  • "try food from places I haven’t been before, plus, they always take place in a cool Fairmount location!"

  • "chance to eat, drink, and laugh with neighbors, both known and not yet known while celebrating our small pocket of Philadelphia."

  • "There is not a year in which we have not walked home at the end of the night feeling as though we were in the room when something special took place."

  • "fun way to meet members of our community while also making for a great date night."
