We are kicking off the month with our final Sidewalk Social of the year. Meet friends and neighbors on Fairmount Avenue this Thursday night from 5pm-7pm between 24th and 25th Street - enjoy music, food and drink, plus 20+ local businesses and vendors!

Saturday, October 5 is the Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park Breakout Race, sponsored by CoreFitness, a neighborhood 5k and half-mile fun run - sign up at this link.
It's also Discovery Fest Day at The Discovery Center from 10am-4pm.
Aiyah's next Art Market at 1809 Fairmount is Saturday, October 12.
Friday, October 18 the Friends and Family of Bache Martin is hosting a movie night on the Brown Street lawn behind the Eastern State at 6pm.
Philadelphia Open Studio Tours have several locations in the neighborhood welcoming guests on October 19 and 20.
Parks on Tap is on the Strawberry Mansion Bridge over the Schuylkill from October 2-6.

Cafe Don Pedro
Nestled in Brewerytown, Café Don Pedro takes a different approach to coffee. The business opened in January 2024 and roasts fine coffees from co-ops in Latin America. Check out their website.
