To the Fairmount Community,
We have exciting news! We’ve recently hired a new Executive Director for the Fairmount CDC -- Patrick Sherlock. His first day will be July 26.
Patrick is passionate about Philadelphia's evolution as a more equitable, accessible and inclusive city. Prior to Fairmount CDC, Patrick worked to support growing communities as a project and partnership manager for 15 years, with the William Penn Foundation and Campus Philly. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and enjoys local restaurant recommendations, running the city's parks and trails, coaching ultimate Frisbee and watching basketball. Patrick and his partner live in Fishtown.
We’re thrilled to have filled this role and I’m grateful to have been able to step in as Acting ED until it was filled. I plan to work together with Patrick to ensure that his transition is smooth and successful. As I step out of the Acting ED role, I will move back to my role as Board President, and I want to thank Charlie Neer for stepping back into the Acting Board President role. His support during this transition was invaluable.
Continuing to watch the progress and growth of the FCDC is exhilarating, and we’re looking forward to having Patrick at its helm. Until Patrick begins, you can still contact me via email at hsiegel@fairmountcdc.org or (215) 232-4766.
As always, if you have communications questions, please reach out to Jessie Marushak, Communications Manager at jessie@7ccommunications.com. We look forward to continuing to support our neighbors and businesses as we bounce back in 2021 and work to build a better Art Museum District.
Sincerely,
Heidi Siegel
Acting Executive Director
Fairmount CDC
